OUR MISSION

Our vision is a better world.  Our mission is to promote Canada in the United Kingdom through education.  We fulfil this mission by supporting education and research and by showcasing to UK audiences the best of Canada and Canadians.  We share Canadian values by creating a platform for conversation and the exchange of ideas. We build bridges between sectors, and we spark collaborations.  

The need for collaboration and for constructive international dialogue is today more critical than ever, given the rapid pace of change in economies, technology, politics, and indeed in the fabric of society itself. With a 50 year history of promoting the exchange of knowledge between Canada and the UK, the Canada-UK Foundation today finds itself in a unique position to facilitate this constructive international dialogue through our educational exchanges. By sharing the best of Canada, and the best of the UK, the Foundation plays a critical role in building bridges between nations… Bridges which ultimately lead to greater understanding, collaboration, and healthy thriving communities.
