Indigenous Youth and Cooks with Stones

Cooks with Stones is coming to Canada Day 2023, London UK!

Cooks with Stones is an award-winning program that supports Indigenous Youth from Canada to build pathways to meaningful employment. As reported by the Further Education Society of Alberta, “The Calgary based charity is bringing seven digenous Youth from the program to showcase their culture, cuisine and culinary skills in London. As part of the celebration, there will be an educational piece to highlight Indigenous People’s of Canada’s past, present, and future. This includes a celebration of the Cooks with Stones program (from a 5×5 metre tent) and a food truck serving a menu curated by Indigenous youth and Indigenous chef Scott Iserhoff from the Cooks with Stones program.
